    these days... I use WinAVI in Linux and it works beautifully...

  10. Handbrake really shines if you're trying to rip all of your DVDs to digital
    copies. I have a custom set up that I like to use in it, and it only takes
    about 20 min. for a 2 hour movie on my quadcore PC with 2 pass. For just
    making Youtube videos I don't know how it will do, I use Camtasia or Adobe
    Premiere in Windows for that. And you didn't see much difference because
    you're not moving much in the video you were transcoding. Convert a portion
    of an action movie and you'll REALLY see it.

    though, I might have another look at it.

  18. wow what a coincidence i was just making the same thing with OpenShot
    Vid.Edit. only that i obtained opposite results, instead of reducing my
    video file i double or triple it (from avi to MP4 or to mpeg), i have to
    try this Handbrake program to reduce my file, thx Spatry

    multiple times. i subbed and liked. can you tell me how to do a backup of
    my gmail and favorite in firefox? i need to do this to save importants mail
    and sites. plus i want to free up space. i use linux mint 13. also is there
    a way to do a system upgrade to 16 without loosing my favs or emails etc. i
    hope you can help. i am a newbie so please tell me in english. tyvm randy´╗┐
